Craft City Squishy Art Design Guide:

Here’s your go-to guide for all things squishy!


Mint Ice Cream Scoop:

  • In a bowl, use a coin to scrape the green and blue chalk, and combine the chalk powder together.
  • Take your bun foam squishy and roll in it thoroughly in the powder until it turns a minty green (add a bit of water for a more vibrant color)
  • Take the white puffy paint and create a drizzle pattern on top of the foam mold
  • Pick out the grey little faux sprinkles to place on top of your squishy bun
  • Wait 24 hours to dry and have fun squishing!

Strawberry Ice Cream Scoop:

  • In a bowl, use a coin to scrape the red chalk into a powder
  • Take your bun foam squishy and roll it thoroughly in the red powder until it turns pink (add a bit of water for a more vibrant color)
  • Take the pink puffy paint and make little squiggles around the bun to make the strawberry pieces, use a paintbrush to be more precise
  • Use the bigger sprinkles and decorate your bun, get creative!
  • Wait 24 hours to dry and have fun squishing!

Galaxy Cupcake/Donut:

  • Choose your preferred squishy, a donut or cupcake
  • In a bowl, use a coin to scrape the purple and blue chalk, and combine the chalk powder together.
  • Take your squishy and roll it thoroughly in the powder until its completely colored in purple
  • Squeeze out the blue puffy paint and take a paintbrush to create a layer of frosting (and if you want a more teal color, add a bit of yellow)
  • Pick out the blue, white, and purple faux sprinkles onto the frosting puffy paint.
  • And if you want to add a bit of sparkle to your galaxy squishy
  • Wait 24 hours for your squishy to dry

Tie Dye Squishy:

  • Choose your squishy
  • In a bowl, use a coin to scrape your favorite chalk into powder and roll your squishy until its completely covered
  • Starting with the lightest puffy paint color, using the yellow to create a pinwheel cha

Watermelon Cupcake

  • In a bowl, use a coin to scrape the green chalk to create the powder
  • Take your squishy and roll it thoroughly in the powder until its completely colored in green
  • Take your pink puffy paint and paintbrush to create a pink layer of frosting on the cupcake
  • *for extra fun, add a little bit of the white puffy paint around the cupcake to mimic the watermelon rind
  • *for more color, mix together yellow with a bit of the blue paint to create green and stripe it around the base of the cupcake
  • With the tiny sprinkles, pick out the small black and white (and even the pink) sprinkles to mimic the watermelon seeds and sprinkle on top of the frosting
  • Wait for your 24 hours for your squishy to dry
